The Electronic Attack Air Combat Training Support (EATS) Program is located at the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Amberley QLD and delivers critical support to the RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler capability. Specifically, the EATS program provides contracted support to the Commonwealth for No 82 Wing training, based around the suite of tactical flight simulators and other virtual training systems. The role The EATS Contractor Standing Capability Manager is responsible for the efficient execution of training activities to ensure that No 82 Wing can meet its capability requirements, within a flexible and transparent resource management framework. The EATS Contractor Standing Capability Manager acts as a key interface to the Commonwealth and Subcontractors for aircrew training delivery related issues. The role also manages the Performance Measurement Framework (Key Performance Indicators and System Health metrics). The person Requires a University Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Logistics, Business Management or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience in the establishment and management of integrated schedules, resource management and budgets, Key Performance Indicators, strategic planning and ability to identify conflicts and priorities. Demonstrated understanding of RAAF training requirements, especially with regard to Air Combat aircrew capabilities. Stakeholder experience related to experienced aircrew training professionals and excellent relationship management capabilities.
